Shutdown in Budgam town against NIA raid on Agha Hassan’s residence
Following the NIA raid on the Hurriyat (G) leader and prominent Shia cleric Agha Syed Hassan, a complete shutdown is being observed in Budgam town today.
The NIA had yesterday carried out raids at eight different places in the summer capital, two places in Jammu and Delhi’s NCR region including the residence of Agha Syed Hassan at Budgam.
The head of Anjuman Sharae Shian had called for shutdown yesterday.
The NIA sleuths had to flee the residence of Agha Syed Hassan after hundreds of his followers stormed in central Kashmir’s Budgam on Thursday evening.
