Two drug peddlers arrested in Budgam
Budgam police in its continuous drive against drug menace, arrested two drug peddlers and recovered bhung & poppy straw from their possession.
“A police party of Police Station Magam laid a naka at Adina in its jurisdiction. During naka checking one person identified as Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Hardaboora was intercepted. On checking 3.2 kilograms of Bhang was recovered from his possession, ” police said.
A case FIR number 127/17 under section 8/20 NDPS act was registered and investigation was taken up.
Furthermore, during naka checking at Brail, a police party of Police Post Waterhail intercepted a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02J/6500. On checking about 15 kilograms of poppy straw was recovered from the possession of Nazir Ahmad Mir resident of Kadipora, Budgam.
A case FIR number 97/2017 was registered and investigation was taken up
