KEG condemns scribes murder
Kashmir Editors Guild (KEG) has strongly condemned the murder of Gauri Lankesh, senior journalist and Editor, Lankesh Patrika.
In an emergency meeting held here today with the President KEG, Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo in the chair, the Guild described the murder as gruesome and an attack on the freedom of press and expression.
Expressing hope that the Karnataka government acts swiftly to identify and nab the killers, KEG appealed to all media organizations to do their bit to protect the freedom of press.
