A special NIA court today sent Javed Ahmad Bhat and Kamran Yousuf to 10-day police custody, reports said.

The duo was arrested yesterday on charges of stone pelting and spreading rumors by the National Investigation Agency and was taken to New Delhi for integration.

Kamran Yousuf, who works as a freelance photo-journalist in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district is accused of uploading ‘Provocative’video on his Facebook profile while Javaid, a laborer by profession, is accused of instigating violence via WhatsApp.

Meanwhile, South Kashmir journalists on Wednesday held a peaceful protest outside DC office Pulwama against the detention of a local photojournalist, Kamran Yousuf by National Investigation Agency (NIA).
