Cordon and search operation in several villages in south Kashmir
Cordon and search operation has been launched by government forces in several villages of Shopian District of south Kashmir.
According to reports, a joint team of 44 RR of army and Special Operations Group Imam Sahib and Zainapora, after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area, cordoned off several villages including Nagbal, Urpara, Dachoo, Homehuna, Hushunpora and Nolai Poshwari, in Imamsahib area of the district early Tuesday.
Search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
