Infiltration bid foiled by BSF in Arnia sector
BSF troops foiled an armed infiltration bid from across the border in Arnia Sector, a statement said.
According to the statement, at about 1540 hrs, a group of infiltrators terrorists reached close to the fence at International Border in Arnia and engaged BSF troops in firing at one of the OPs .
“In the meantime, during the cross-fire one of the intruders climbed over the fence and jumped over towards Indian side. Alert BSF troops shot the intruder instantly while simultaneously replying to the firing from Pakistan side. Intermittent fire from both side still continues,” a statement said.
