Seven family members killed in Rajouri mishap

Seven persons, including three kids of a family were Monday killed in a road accident after a vehicle they were travelling in plunged into a river in Narian area of Jammu region’s Rajouri district.

The deceased also included the PA to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri, officials said.

Reports said that a private vehicle bearing registration number JK11B-4300, skidded off the road near Narian Rajouri, which resulted in the on spot death of seven persons of a family including two males, two females and three kids.

“All the persons travelling in the vehicle died on spot,” officials said.

The deceased were identified as Mehmood Ahmad, son of Jaffar Ali (PA DC office Rajouri); Abdul Aziz, son of Jaffar Ali; Atter Begum, daughter of Jaffar Ali; Jameela, wife of Mehmood Ahmad and her three kids: Rehan, Husnain and Alisha.
