Two dead, three injured in Indian firing along LoC: Pak

Two people died and three other were critically injured when Indian army opened fire across the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK), Pakistani media reported quoting officials.

According to the reports, the casualties took place in Fatehpur village of Nezapir sector in Haveli district, which came under “unprovoked” Indian shelling

The report quoting Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chaudhry Kashif Hussain said that one shell landed in the house of Shaikh Mushtaq, 65, in which his children Naveed, 32, and daughter Asma, 20, dead on the spot.

Meanwhile, Mushtaq, his wife Naseema Begum, 55, and another son Ansar, 25, were critically injured.

Pertinently, at least five civilians sustained injuries on this side of the LoC last evening during cross LoC firing.
