Forces launch Cordon and search operation in Kulgam
Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation near mini-secretariat Kulgam in South Kashmir.
After receiving special inputs about the presence of militants , forces launched the search operation in the area. Search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
Earlier a cordon and search operation was launched in many villages of south Kashmir’s Shopian district in the wee hours today as well.
A joint team of 62 RR and SoG Shopian cordoned many villages of the district following the inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Sources said that many villages including Matribugh, Ronipora, Zoipora, Dangam, Wangam were cordoned.
