Dozens injured as bus overturns in Handwara Village
At least fifteen passengers sustained injuries when a passenger bus in which they were traveling overturned at Chontipora village of Mawer Handwara on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred this morning when the bus was on its way to the Handwara in Mawer and its driver lost control over the vehicle and it overturned.
When contacted SHO Qalamabad Sb Ahad Jan and Company commander 30RR Qalamabad who were on the spot to rescue the injured persons said that, “a bus bearing no JK13 = 3402 overturned today morning at Chontipora village in which almost 15 passengers received minor injuries, while it at least three passengers were critically injured”.
However, other passengers are said to be stable.
