04 persons injured in separate road accidents

At least four persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley today, police said on Tuesday.

According to police, in Baramulla, a Maruti-800 car bearing registration number JK01H-0737 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Ghulam Mohi-ud-din resident of Wassan Kunzer at Wassan Crossing in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kunzar. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital Magam for treatment where from he was referred to JVC, Srinagar for further treatment. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard.

In Awantipora, an Alto car bearing registration number JK13D-2790 driven by Feroz Ahmad Bhat resident of Mandoora Tral hit and injured a pedestrian namely Abdul Hamid Reshi resident of Chawaullar at Chawaullar in the jurisdiction of Police Station Tral. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Tral for treatment where from he was referred to SMHS, Srinagar for further treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.

In Ganderbal, a Tipper bearing registration number JK01P-1665 driven by Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Mir resident of Syedpora Alestang collided with a LP truck bearing registration number JK01F-0465 driven by Arif Ahmad Sheikh resident of Takiya Chiva Safapora, near DPO Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to Yasmeena resident of Guzerbal and Zareena resident of Barsoo Ganderbal. Both the injured girls were shifted Sub District Hospital Ganderbal for treatment. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.
