Chairman TFJ meets Governor

Rajesh Gupta, Chairman, Tourism Federation Jammu (TFJ), called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan.

Gupta apprised Governor about the problems being faced by the tourism sector in the State and shared his views about the varied initiatives which are required to be taken to enhance tourist visitors to J&K.

He stressed the need to create awareness about the peaceful environment which obtains at most of the tourist spots in the State and, side by side, attention must be devoted to develop new areas which have high tourism potential.

Gupta complimented the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board for the arrangements made for the conduct of this year’s Yatra which continued despite the terrorist attack and a very tragic bus accident.
