Arms, ammunition recovered in Ganderbal
Arms and ammunition, was recovered by the government forces during a search operation in a forest area of Kangan in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A joint party of SOG Ganderbal and 24 RR launched a search operation in Chokinar Akhal forest area of Kangan in Ganderbal district in the wee hours of Monday morning,” said an official.
He said that a hideout under a rock was busted during the operation.
“Arms and ammunition, including one AK-56 rifle, 02 magazines and 44 rounds were recovered,” said the official.
Police has registered an FIR and investigation has been taken up.
