Hattrick School starts ICAS as part of curriculum

The Hattrick Public School, Zakura Saturday started the international academic Program with launch of ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) in Kashmir for the first time.

HTPS will be the first school from Valley to go for skill based assessment program which recognizes and rewards student achievement. Educational Assessment Australia (EAA) has continuously improved and enhanced ICAS.

The same was launched in the opening ceremony of School in-house camp by MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ashfaq Jabar along with Rtd Justice Jan, G.N Var , Prof Afzal Qadri and various dignitaries.

“I see this school as a promising school with very good infrastructure and will support in my capacity to the growth of this institution”, said MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ashfaq Jabar.

At HTPS the delivery of academic plan is customized as per the needs of learners, parent school interaction is made smooth, grievance mechanism is made efficient and fast, skill embellishment is one of the key processes, a statement issued by the school said later.

The school camp was aimed at grooming students and preparing them for bigger challenges in life. The evening program was full of life skills, recreational activities and cultural performances by the students. Various dignitaries present on the evening were MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ashfaq Jabar,  Rtd Justice Jan, G.N Var  President Private school Association, Nisheet Shirisvastav Principal IHM ,Prof Afzal Qadri, former DSW and Dean Dept Law KU,Prof GN Khakhi DSW KU, Prof Naseer Iqbal, Chief Proctor KU, Sahahid Ali Khan, cultural officer and various dignitaries from the field of Education.

“We are committed to take this school to the best position in academia, cultural, sports and innovative activities,” said Showkat .M. Chowdhary, Chairman Chowdhary group.

“HTPS campus so far is a serene, safe and best state of art infrastructure with Hi tech IT facilities available”, he added. Further Horse riding, Swimming, golf and Tong Il moo do like sports are the exclusive sports available in the HTPS campus.

The program was full of recreational activities for students as well as parents.
