Cordon and search operation ends in Shopian villages
Cordon and search operation launched earlier by government forces in over half dozen villages of south Kashmir’s Shopian district has ended peacefully after several hours on Saturday.
Earlier today a joint team of 62 RR and 14th Bn of CRPF had launched a massive search operation in ten villages of district Shopian after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
However the search operation was ended after several hours without any positive results for the government forces.
