02 residential houses damaged in fire

Two residential houses were damaged and a lady was injured in two separate fire incidents in Kupwara on Saturday.

According to police, fire broke out in a double storied residential house of Mohammad Sumander Mir resident of Dardpora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kralpora, Kupwara, resulting in damage to the house. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders. However, during extinguishing of fire one lady namely Rubeena Begum wife of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Mir got injured who has been hospitalised.

In another incident, fire broke out in the residential house of Manzoor Ahmad Mir resident of Bagat Mohallah in the jurisdiction of Police Post Hatmulla, resulting in damage to the house. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders, police said.
