01 dies, minor injured in road mishaps
One person died while a minor was injured in two different road accident in Handwara and Anantnag.
According to police, in Handwara, an unknown Tractor hit and injured a minor boy namely Sabdar Rafeeq, 08 years, son of Rafeeq Ahmad Rather resident of Sharkote at Sharkote Tarathpora in the jurisdiction of Police Staiton Vilgam. The injured boy was shifted to Sub Disrict Hospital Kralpora for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.
In Anantnag, a Motorcycle met with an accident near Bidder in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag, resulting in on spot death of motorcyclist namely Mohammad Amin Wani. After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Kokernag police has registered a case in this regard, police said.
