Six labourers injured in tunnel collapse in Surankote

At least six labourers were injured after an under constructions tunnel caved in due to a landslide in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

According to a police official, a part of Parnai Hydel Project tunnel caved in around 11:30 am due to the landslide in Surankote tehsil of the district.

The six labourers were identified as Anwar Hussain, Gulab Hussain, Mahesh Kirti, Maqbool Hussain and Asgar.

The two critically injured labourers were later shifted to the Government Medical College hospital in Jammu, the rest have been admitted in the hospital there.
