Day-long programme on IMC held

Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Institute organized a one-day Industrial Motivation Campaign (IMC) programme in collaboration with Government Boys Degree College, Anantnag.

During the programme experts threw light on various dimensions of entrepreneurship and students were informed about various facets of the field.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah said that present generation should think beyond government services and explore the unexplored opportunities. He added that horticulture sector has the potential to boost the state economy and provide employment avenues to educated youth.

He said that Kashmiri Youth are capable enough to succeed in any field and can become successful entrepreneurs too. He advised the students not to pay heed to the discouraging elements and utilize their energy for innovative and positive works. He said that students have to become the agents of a positive change in order to build a strong and vibrant society.

Among others, Principal GDC Boys Anantnag, Assistant Director MSME and General Manager DIC Anantnag were also present on the occasion.
