Lawyer’s body protest against NIA raid on Reshi’s residence
Kashmir High Court Bar Association on Wednesday staged a protest in the premises of the State High Court in Srinagar against the National Investigation Agency (NIA) raid on the residence of advocate Mohammad Shafi Reshi at Baghat.
The NIA early today conducted raids on at least twelve places in Kashmir including the residence of Reshi, who is a Bar member and also associated with Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani.
The protesting lawyers called the NIA raids as illegal and unwarranted.
Meanwhile, NIA also raided another advocate in Mazhama village of Budgam. Sources said that NIA raided the residential house of Abdul Rahim Wani in Mazhama. Wani is working as an advocate in Magam Musif court.
