Encounter rages in Pulwama village
The encounter between security forces and militants begins in Kakpora village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to the sources, security forces launched a Cordon and search operation in Banderpora, Kakpora after tip-off about the presence of militants in the area.
As soon as the CASO began, militants hiding in the area fired upon the security forces, triggering an encounter.
