Charmin of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik Friday said that Kashmiris are being massacred with impunity as the young, old, women and men are being subjected to worst persecution especially in South Kashmir.

Malik said that the international community continues to remain in deep slumber over such issues.

“Kashmiris today question double standards and criminal silence of international community and champions of human rights regarding Kashmir and Kashmiris,” Malik said, according to the statement issued here.

Condemning the ongoing massacre of Kashmiri youth with impunity and reign of terror unleashed against common Kashmiris especially on the people of south Kashmir, Malik said that on daily basis Kashmiri fathers are forced to shoulder their young sons who are being brutalized and killed with impunity by Indian forces and police.

He said that a spree of Killings is going on in the name of armed clashes and killing innocents has become a routine job of police and forces.

Citing the example of recently martyred Younis Ahmad in Tral, JKLF chief said that whosoever is coming in the way of trigger happy Indians is being showered with bullets, pellets and shells.

“The level of insanity of Indian forces has reached to such extent that they are seen filming themselves while mutilating corpses, disrespecting even the dead ones and taking Selfies with the dead bodies,” he said.

He said that on one hand this genocide is going on and on the other hand Indian forces have unleashed a new era of beatings, vandalizing properties, arrests and torturing common people without the discrimination of age or gender.

“Nocturnal raids, putting men, women, young and elderly in jails under black laws and beating men and women have become a routine in whole south Kashmir including Anantnag (Islamabad), Pulwama, Shupian, Kulgam, Bijbihara, Pampore and other areas,” he said.

Malik said that from ongoing genocide of Kashmiris to unleashing of terror on common Kashmiris, all is being done by Indian rulers with the active support of Mehbooba Mufti led PDP and other pro-Indian politicians who shamelessly support these killings and atrocities.

“No one is raising his or her voice on Kashmiri persecution by Indians as international community for safeguarding its business interest in big Indian market seem to forget about their high standards on human rights and human values,” he said, adding that today Kashmiris are questioning the double standards and criminal silence of international community and champions of human rights regarding Kashmir.

“Kashmiris ask international community and champions of human rights to fulfill their responsibilities regarding Kashmiris, shun their double standards and intervene to save the lives of humans in Kashmir,” JKLF chairman said.

Meanwhile, on the call of united resistance leadership, JKLF leaders and activists led by Zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal today staged a grand peaceful protest near Budshah Chowk Lal Chowk.

Along with people from many walks of life in, the protest was attended by JKLF leaders Mushtaq Ajmal, Muhammad Yasin Butt, Siraj ud din Mir, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Muhammad Sideeq Shah, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, professor Javed, Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan and Showkat Ahmad Dar.

Holding placards depicting slogans against Indian oppression and raising slogans, participants of the protest marched from Madeena Chowk to Budshah Chowk where they sat on a peaceful sit-in.

Protest was addressed by JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal and others who strongly condemned the ongoing Indian oppression in whole Kashmir especially south Kashmir.

Speakers said that ‘oppression and tyranny’ will not be able to put Kashmiri freedom movement and resistance in submission but in-fact this is strengthening people’s resolve and passion.
