India, Pak trade fire on LoC, woman killed
A woman was killed when Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged firing and shelling in Mendhar sector of the Poonch district early Saturday, reports said.
“The 45-year-old woman Raqia Begum was a resident of upper Golat in Mendhar,” Mendhar Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Riyaz Tantray said.
The cross border firing and shelling was going on when reports last came in.
