8th Bandipora Wushu Champioship begins
8th District Bandipora Wushu Championship 2017 started here on Friday at Government Boys Middle School Chinpazpora and SJDB Public School.
430 boys and girls from different schools of the district participated in the championship in different age groups categories.
Wushu Association of Bandipora organizes the Championship in collaboration with Wushu Association Jammu Kashmir.
During the inauguration of the Championship, Development Commissioner Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmed was Chief Guest, while District Officer Food and Safety Yamin was the Guest of Honour.
While speaking on the occasion, Khrusheed Ahmed encouraged all the players and wished them luck. “You people are lucky enough that you have got a chance to prove your talent. The Championship is a big opportunity for the players of this district,” he said.
