The Qaimoh area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district is observing a complete shutdown on Thursday against “excesses of Indian Troopers”. People raised slogans to decry the high handedness of troopers.

The residents of Qaimoh alleged that after the Cordon and Search Operation was called off in the area on Wednesday, the troopers barged into the houses and caused damage to the property.

Shopkeepers also alleged that they looted some shops.
