5917 beneficiaries covered under credit plan in Bandipora

A meeting was conveyed today by DDC Bandipora to discuss the district credit plan benefitting 5917 families.

According to a statement issued here, an amount of Rs. 111.23 crore has been advanced under priority and non priority sectors in District Bandipora during the first quarter of current financial year under district credit plan (DCP) benefiting 5917 families.

During the meeting, DDC Bandipora discussed pre-potential linked plan (PLP) to formulate the proposed DCP for 2018-19.

The meeting was further informed that a total of Rs. 419.58 crore has been targeted to be provided to the people to establish their income generating units under this fiscal.

The meeting was attended by ADC, CPO, District Coordinators of various sponsoring agencies and financial institutions, besides Lead district manager Bandipora and DDM NABARD.

While reviving the achievements this fiscal, the meeting was informed that Rs. 61.27 crore were advanced under priority and Rs. 49.96 crore under non priority sector in the district.

The DDC on the occasion enjoined upon the officers to work with coordination and cover more and more families under the plan so that the economic condition of district gets boosted. It was also informed that all the KCC holders are being linked with various banks.
