Two militants killed in Gulab Bagh encounter : Police
Two militants were killed in an encounter between security forces and militants in Gulab Bagh area of Tral, police said.
However, the identity of the militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, a gunfight between government forces and militants erupted in Gulab Bagh area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
As per sources, soon after forces cordoned off the area the militants hiding fired upon them triggering encounter.
Sources said that three Hizbul Mujahideen militants are believed to be trapped.
Meanwhile, the search operation was going on when the reports came in.
