Bung cultivation destroyed in Ganderbal
Ganderbal Police on Tuesday destroyed bung cultivation in Shadipora area of Ganderbal district.
Police in its drive against the contraband crops, destroyed bung cultivation spread over a vast patch of land at village Shadipora.
“On the directions of SSP Ganderbal and under the supervision of Dy. SP Headquarters Dr Rameez Raja, a police party headed by DO Shadipora conducted a drive against bung cultivators.
During the drive bung cultivation spread at village Shadipora was destroyed. Moreover, the team headed by Safapora and Lar police stations also destroyed a huge quantity of bung at Bypass area.” Police said.
The people of Ganderbal have hailed the efforts of Police.
