Trooper injured at Uri
An Army trooper Monday sustained injuries after India and Pakistan troops exchanged fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
Officials said that an army trooper identified as Narendra Singh Bisht (43) received a sniper shot in his head and was airlifted to Army’s 92 base hospital Badamibagh, Srinagar for treatment.
