Dy CM extend greetings on Raksha Bandhan

Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh today felicitated the people of the state on the eve of Raksha Bandhan adding the festival symbolizing love and special bond between the siblings would also strengthen the existing bonds of mutual brotherhood and co-existence among the people of the state.

In a message, Dr. Singh said that the festival is unique to the cultural and religious ethos of our country, which fosters the bonding of love and affection among brothers and sisters and hoped it would also usher an era of peace, amity and prosperity in the state. He also maintained that the festival has a special significance for our state as it marks the culmination of the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
