Two of the 3 militants killed in Sopore gunfight identified
Two of the three LeT militants killed in Amargarh Sopore have been identified.
The slain militants include Javaid Ahmad Dar resident of Khanpora Baramulla and Abid Hamid Mir resident of Hajin Baramulla. The identity of the third militant is yet to be ascertained, police said.
Earlier, three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants were killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Sopore town, police said.
The authorities had directed all cellular companies to suspend cellular and mobile Internet services in Baramulla to “prevent spread of any rumour on social media,” an official said
