Clashes erupt as forces cordon Sopore town
Clashes have erupted between youth and government forces after forces launched a cordon and search operation in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Forces after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area launched the search operation.
However soon after the search operation was launched, youth appeared from Nowpora side shouting slogans and started pelting stones on forces which led to chaos in area.
Forces also blocked the inner Syedpora – model town road.
