A minor girl was injured when a tipper hit and broke both her legs in Kupwara village on Thursday.
Marya Akbar daughter of Mohammad Akbar resident of Tikker village of Kupwara was hit by a tipper when she was walking on the road and was badly injured.
She was referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment from district hospital Kupwara, sources said.
Police sources said that the tipper driver has been taken into custody.
