Youth injured in Pulwama clashes succumbs at SKIMS
A youth injured during clashes in Pulwama district of south Kashmir yesterday has succumbed at SKIMS Soura, officials said today.
The deceased namely Akeel Ahmad Bhat, resident of Gabarpora Haal village, was injured after government forces opened fire to disperse protesters marching towards the site of gunfight in Hakripora village of the district yesterday. He was an eleventh class student.
He was shifted to District Hospital Pulwama where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
However he succumbed early morning on Wednesday.
Pertinently, another civilian Firdous Ahmad Bhat was also killed in forces’ action yesterday in Pulwama.
