Bear injures 60-year-old in Zainagir Sopore
In yet another man-wild conflict, a 60-year-old man was mauled by a bear in north Kashmir’s Zainagir area. The person was immediately rushed to sub district hospital Sopore for treatment.
According to hospital records, Mohd Subhan Reshi son of Abdullah Reshi – a resident of Harwan Tujjar was attacked by the bear injuring his neck and face.
The incident, according to Bomai police station, happened in the orchards when the victim was cutting grass. The area is surrounded by forest area.
Reshi was shifted to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.
