Protests erupt in Kulgam Degree College after killing of LeT commander

Following the killing of two militants including top LeT commander Abu Dujana in a gungfight with government forces, hundreds of Students of Government Degree College Kulgam in south Kashmir held protests raising pro-Abu Dujana slogans, sources said.

The students boycotted their classes and came out on the gate of the College raising pro-militant and  pro-Dujana slogans.

Sources said that protesting students not only raised slogans but unfurled Pakistan flag during their protests.

Earlier, a youth was hit by bullet during the clashes which erupted between protesters and government forces near the encounter site in Hakripora village in Pulwama district in South Kashmir, sources said.

He was shifted to SMHS hospital for specialized treatment. His condition is stated to be critical.
