Inter District Martial Art events conclude
Provincial level Inter District Martial Art competitions for Girls concluded at Indoor Stadium Srinagar on Monday.
The championships were organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, in which more than 300 girls from 10 districts of Kashmir division participated.
The championships were conducted in the events of Sqay, Thangta, Jeet Kando, Taekwando, Kick boxing, Wushu and Judo.
Iamin Bashir of Pulwama , Zubaikha of Ganderbal, Noor-ul-haya of Budgam, Ayat Aulam of Budgam , Hanaya Nisar, Syed Toiba of Budgam , Rizia Farooq bagged Gold medals in different weight categories, while Khusboo Parvaiz of Pulwama , Afreen Jan of Srinagar, Arifat of Pulwama, Rabia Nisar of Srinagar, Huzaifa of Srinagar, Haiqa Hazia of Ganderbal bagged silver medals.
Players from Budgam district bagged maximum medals and lifted the overall championship.
