School building catches fire in Beerwah
A school building in Beerwah area of Budgam district on Monday caught fire.
Dozens of students had a narrow escape when a Boys Middle School caught fire during the working hours.
The property was however destroyed after fire engulfed Govt Boy’s Middle School, Beerwah, school officials said.
The classes in the school were going on however no one was injured in the incident, an official said.
Volunteers from the neighbouring area and Fire and Emergency personnel helped in dousing the fire.
Meanwhile, cause of the fire was being ascertained.
