Militant killed as Army foils Infiltration bid in Uri: Police
A militant was killed in as claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said on Sunday.
An official said that army challenged the militant who was trying to infiltrate into this side of the border along the LoC in Torna village last night.
The militant opened fire, following which army retaliated, said the official.
He said the body of the infiltrator was recovered, however his identity could not be ascertained immediately.
