Gunmen loot bank in Arwani Bijbehara
Unidentified gunmen targeted a branch of the state-run Jammu and Kashmir Bank at Arwani area of south Kashmir’s Bijbehara tehsil on Monday and decamped with cash in lakhs.
According to sources, the gunmen looted around more than INR 5 lakh in cash and damaged some computers before thrashing the bank employees.
As per sources, around 12 :15 pm on Monday, four gunmen entered the bank branch and beat up the employees and damaged the bank records.
Police has started the search operation in the area.
