Geelani’s son Dr Naeem hospitalised
The elder son of Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani, Dr. Naeem Geelani was on Sunday hospitalized after he complained of chest pain.
“Dr Naeem Sunday complained of chest pain after which he was admitted in Soura Medical Institute, where he has been kept in ICU.” Hurriyat (G) spokesman said.
He said that Naeem Geelani is a heart patient and has suffered a massive heart attack in 2009 and was operated with two cardiac stents.
Pertinently, Naeem was scheduled to visit New Delhi for the NIA investigation and has also booked a flight in this regard, spokesman said and added that “he is under regular medical care, psychological pressure may have adverse effects on his health”
