Deputations call on CM, demand redressal of grievances

Scores of deputations today met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today and apprised her of their day to day problems and sought their redressal.

A deputation of manufacturers and dealers of willow products sought relaxation in GST charges on the products manufactured by them. Another deputation of traders from Jammu also sought rolling out of a roadmap for GST subvention and other interventions.

A deputation of young entrepreneurs demanded necessary support from the Government in their business activities.

Deputations from Tral demanded raising of tourist huts at Naristan, development of Naga Beran and Shikargah and connecting upper reaches of Dachigam with Tral. They also sought developments of roads in the area.

Deputation from Tangmarg sought development of Kalsari-Bunashoora road and setting of a bank branch in Chokura village.

A deputation of members of Bar Association Chadoora sought construction of court complex at Chadoora and posting of Additional District Judge there.

A deputation of Physical Education teachers demanded early filling of promotion posts in their Department. A deputation of Solina shopkeepers demanded early completion of the Rambagh flyover and adequate compensation in their favour.

Deputation of residents of Beerwah demanded upgradation of Shahgund-Beerwah road and setting up of a fully equipped health centre at Sanoor Kalipora.

A deputation of non migrant Kashmiri Pandits sought rolling out of an employment package for the unemployed youth of the community.

Another deputation of the members of Low Paid employees demanded removal of pay anomalies in various categories of posts, enhancement of medical allowance and revision of daily wages.

Deputations from Wachi, Pulwama and KGB volunteers also met the Chief Minister and sought redressal of their issues.

Mehbooba Mufti instructed the concerned Departments to look into the demands raised by the deputations within a stipulated time schedule.
