Forces have cordoned off Krangsoo village of Mattan area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag dist afrer receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Heavy forces have been deployed in the area.
Forces have been deployed in many villages adjacent to Mattan including nanil Kanelwan, where search operation is also going on.

It is pertinent to mention that cordon and operation was launched in Mattan area today around 4 pm and concluded around 5:30 pm.

As per sources militants managed to escape in the mattan area,due to which search operations have been launched in the adjacent areas as to nab the escaped militants
