Meanwhile, six Lashkar-e-Toiba activists were arrested by Srinagar police in Srinagar city last evening.

A police official said that acting on a specific information, Srinagar police laid a naka at Tangpora bypass on Saturday evening.

During the searches, six LeT workers have been arrested along with an AK-47 and other war like stores, he said, adding that two vehicles have also been seized.

The official termed the arrest of the six LeT activists as a major success as the members were scheduled to meet their counterparts in north Kashmir as part of arms deal.
