Malik’s artificial heart valve is not functioning properly: JKLF

Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik was Saturday brought to Modern hospital where senior heart surgeon, Doctor Anil Bhan examined him, a spokesman said here.

The spokesman according to the statement said that appointment with Doctor Bhan had been made prior to his arrest and in wake of that police today brought Malik to Modern hospital Rajbagh where the doctor examined his heart Valve.

“During the examination it has been yet again diagnosed that his artificial heart Valve is not functioning properly and has in fact developed some snag,” the spokesman said, adding that his gradient pressure Valve which is normally 25-40 mmhg has risen considerably and is touching 34 mmhg levels.

The spokesman said that the doctor has advised him to go for further examinations to ascertain and diagnose the exact position of the heart valve.

Meanwhile, on the instructions of JKLF chairman’s advice, JKLF Chief Organizer, Siraj Ud din Mir along with district president Budgam Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan, Muhammad Ramzan Sofi , Molvi Abdul Rashid, Ali Muhammad, Abdul Rehman Gojri and others visited Arwah Beerwah and met the bereaved family of slain Tanveer Ahmad Wani and expressed solidarity with them.

While condemning this ‘brutal’ killing by Indian army, JKLF leader Siraj Ud din said that “after killing an innocent, army is justifying this crime by fabricating a story of gun snatching which actually exposes the blatant attitude of Indian occupational forces.”

Meanwhile, a delegation from Aanchar Soura today visited JKLF office and narrated the “horrible stories of SOG, police and other forces, which have unleashed an unprecedented reign of terror throughout this area.”

Delegation according to spokesman said that “SOG and police on daily basis is raiding residences during night hours and terrorizing the innocent people there.”

They said that “SOG is using ladders to barge into houses and people of the area are even being barred to move outside and continue with their daily routine.”

While condemning these atrocities, JKLF assured these people of every help and assistance.

Meanwhile, Malik has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the father of a JKLF well-wisher, Aashiq Ahmad Lone of Nowgam Srinagar who breathed his last today.

Praying for the heavenly abode of the deceased Khizar Muhammad Lone, JKLF General Secretary, Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi and Zonal vice president Muhammad Sideeq Shah also prayed for the patience of his bereaved family.
