Police solves blind murder case, accused arrested
Police on Friday claimed to have cracked a blind murder case and have arrested the accused.
According to the police, two suspects Munir Ahmad Sheikh S/O Alif Din Sheikh and Mohd Rafi Sheikh S/O Mohd Shafi Sheikh Rs/O Madiyan Kamalkote , have been found involved in the commission of heinous crime and they have been arrested.
According to the police on July 3rd , 2017, dead body of one namely Maqsood Ahmad Khanday R/O Sikki Madiyan Kamalkote age 15 years was recovered in Madiyan village near LoC.
After taking cognizance of the matter, a case under FIR 42/2017 u/s 302, 34 RPC was registered and investigation was set into motion.
Consequently, a site plan was prepared and many suspects were called for questioning in Police Station Uri based on evidence collected on spot and information generated by Police Station Uri.
During the investigation, it was found that the deceased was missing from his home since July 2nd, 2017.
After strenuous efforts by Syed Javid Ahmad, SDPO Uri and Inspr. Tabraiz Ahmad, SHO PS Uri, the case was cracked and accused were indentified.
