67 girls among 171 candidates qualify Physical test

A total of 803 candidates participated in the physical test conducted for the posts of Sub Inspector in Ladakh, a spokesman of the police said here.

He said that the tests saw an overall participation of 803 candidates out of which 67 girls also made it to the final list. The test was conducted in a most transparent and clear manner.

One of the qualified candidate while talking to Media appreciated the role of SSP Kargil T Gyalpo and DY SP Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho who was the nodal officers of the special Camp for post Physical Test Training which was in progress from the last 10 days.

The Candidates also thanked Chairman J&K legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali for his effort to change the Venue for Aspirants belonging to Kargil district from Leh as it was difficult for a candidate from Kargil to qualify in Leh due to High Altitude.

 The physical test training camp of Sub Inspector aspirants organized by District Police Kargil concluded successfully today.

The Nodal officer of the camp Ishtyaq Ahmed Kacho, JKPS Dy. SP Hqrs Kargil under whose supervision the whole camp was conducted, said that during the event training was provided for race, push-ups and Short Put (for female aspirants) under the guidance of trained Drill Instructors from DPL Kargil. He further added that good improvement in race, Push-up and Short Put were observed among the participants.

ADGP AK Chowdhary the Chairman for the recruitment of SI Personally Supervised the Physical Test in Kargil and expressed satisfaction on the whole process and response in Kargil.
