Book exhibition cum seminar organized
A book exhibition cum seminar was organized by the Department of Libraries & Research at District Library Kupwara as part of ‘National Mission on Reading’.
On this occasion ADC Kupwara, Principal GHSS Kupwara and President cultural trust Kupwara, social activist, intellectuals, and students from district Kupwara were present.
ADC Kupwara and other speakers stressed on the importance of book reading and library culture in our society. The Librarian District library Kupwara requested the different sections of the society especially the students to bridge the gap between libraries and the society. The librarian also highlighted the availability of NEET/JEE, IAS/KAS material in the library.
At the end, prizes were distributed by the district librarian among the meritorious participants. First prize was bagged by Faizan Qureshi, second prize by Peerzada Ahsanul Kareem and third prize by Shujaat Hussain.
