Akbar Lone chairs PAC meeting
A meeting of the Committee on Public Accounts (PAC) of the Legislative Assembly was held here today under the Chairmanship of Legislator Mohammad Akbar Lone to discuss the working of the Committee.
Legislators, Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Shamima Firdous, Rajeev Jasrotia and Ghulam Nabi Monga were also present in the meeting.
The meeting held threadbare discussions on the proposed visit of the Committee members to Pahalgam and its adjoining areas to review status of developmental works in these areas being undertaken by different executing agencies and Departments.
The Committee decided that its next meeting will be held on July 20 to further discuss matters regarding the working of the PAC.
Among others, Additional Secretary Legislative Assembly, R L Sharma and other Officers of Assembly Secretariat were also present in the meeting.
