Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, on Monday said that arresting and stopping of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq from participating in the funeral prayers of his uncle Tariq Ahmad Buchh can be termed as dictatorship of worst kind.

Tariq Ahmad Buch, uncle of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, is cousin of famous physician Dr. Shakil Mujahid, who lives in Saudi Arabia.

While expressing his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of Tariq Buchh, JKLF chairman said that so-called PDP regime has lost every moral and human value by stopping Umar Farooq from participating in funeral prayers of his uncle.

Prior to this JKLF chairman along with a delegation comprising Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Ghulam Muhammad Dar and others visited Hyderpora where they expressed condolences to Ali Muhammad Lone (father of Mushtaq Ahmad Lone) at the demise of his sister.

Meanwhile, JKLF has asked the world community to intercede on the Kashmir issue and work actively for a peaceful resolution of Kashmir conflict.

In a letter addressed to respective governments through their diplomatic missions in London, JKLF’s head of diplomatic bureau, Prof Zafar Khan, urged the governments to engage constructively with India, Pakistan and the pro freedom leadership in Kashmir, for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir’s future status.
